Benita Kathleen Britto is a Computer Science graduate student at the University of Wisconsin Madison with a passion for Operating Systems, Databases, and Distributed Systems. With 3.11 years of relevant experience, she has previously worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft and as a Student Researcher at Blockchain and AI Lab at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute. At Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Benita worked on building and implementing a decentralized carbon token trading system on the Blockchain to keep carbon emissions in check. During her internship at Microsoft, she worked on two projects: to modernize the Microsoft Certified Trainer Enrollment tool and to build an Exam Recommendation System for the Microsoft Learn portal. Benita has a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute and also completed her studies in Science from K J Somaiya College of Science & Commerce. She possesses a strong tech stack that includes Software Engineering, Recommendation Systems, Blockchain, AI, Research Science, and Decentralized systems. Currently, Benita is working as a Software Engineer at Microsoft. With her diverse background in computer science, she is always eager to learn new things and explore different areas of the field. Benita is a dedicated and hardworking individual with a strong passion for technology and a desire to make a positive impact in the world.
